National Car Rental
Welcome back!
24 rental car agents got together in 1947 to form National car rental. It began with 6 locations around the United States. That was a lot for 1947. But in the next 6 years National grew to the point that today it has over 2 locations all over the world. People go to National when they need to rent.
While on business many people need to rent automobiles. A set of wheels of their own is important. At night that’s even more important. Public transportation can be dangerous after dark.
National, like many other large rental car companies, has some incredible rates on rental cars. It’s possible to have a car for about $2 a day. Sometimes there are even cheaper special deals. Some seasons there are one dollar daily rates.
National has a lot of last minute deals, too. It considers itself the last minute car rental specialist, and takes action to make that come true. People don’t always have notice for a trip that requires a rental car. Last minute travel happens. National works to provide the best deals in those types of situations. Here’s a couple. $19 a day for a compact car, or a convertible for only $17 weekly. Those types of rates are a relief to people who have to make last minute plans.
A little known fact is that National and Alamo are part of the same corporate entity. They’ve both been owned by Enterprise since 1997. Because each has its own niche, they remain independent and active brands. National is the last minute rental company, Enterprise serves the corporate world, while Alamo is the vacation specialist.
People can still rent from any of these companies. Use Travelocity to compare them all. Look around for specials and coupon codes . And if they’re the best car rental deal, then by all means choose National car rental.
